Welcome the Chinese New Year through the refined art of wagashi. In this guided, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the techniques behind seasonal sweets, explore their cultural meaning, and enjoy a thoughtfully paired tea. The experience invites both beginners and returning guests to slow down, create, and connect in a calm, communal setting.

Part 1 | Intro to Wagashi

Explore the history, cultural roots, and seasonal symbolism of refined Wagashi

Part 2 | Demonstration by Instructor + Hands-On Creation (4 designs)

Learn how to shape and color each sweet step by step. Create your own Wagashi. Elegant takeaway boxes will be provided.

Part 3 | Wrap-Up, Tea Pairing & Networking

Pack your sweets to take home, enjoy a final tasting of your wagashi paired with premium teas from 7s Art’s private reserve, and connect with fellow guests through conversation and cultural exchange
