About this event
Discover the edible poetry of traditional confections at 7s Art’s Seasons in Sweets: Late-Fall Wagashi Workshop.
This hands-on experience offers more than dessert—it’s a journey into the quiet elegance, symbolism, and artistry of wagashi.
Led by NYC-based tea dessert artist Xinxin He, you’ll craft four seasonal designs inspired by the spirit of late autumn:
Lucky Pear (吉梨)
Winter Plum (寒梅)
Winter Bamboo Shoot (冬笋)
Ginkgo (银杏)
Each sweet is a meditation on form, color, and emotion—capturing the fleeting grace of the season in edible form.
No experience needed. All tools and materials are provided, and you’ll take home your handmade creations in elegant packaging.
Perfect for anyone wishing to explore East Asian aesthetics, meet creative minds, and savor something meaningful and sweet.
